Yesterday Prime Minister Masrour Barzani chaired the first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Kurdistan Accrediting Association for Education (KAAE), with Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani also in attendance as the Deputy Chairman of the Board.

During the meeting, the Board of Trustees approved KAAE’s vision, mission, organizational chart, bylaws, and several policies and procedures, as well as the formation of various Board of Trustees committees.

KAAE aims to establish the standards of quality assurance to promote educational excellence in public and private universities, schools and other academic institutions with coordination and support of the Kurdistan Regional Government, particularly the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Education.
