The Department of Media and Information (DMI) is set to collaborate on a national media campaign for the upcoming Iraqi general population census, scheduled for November 2024. This initiative aims to enhance public awareness and participation within the Kurdistan Region.

A collaborative workshop in Erbil, involving the Federal Ministry of Planning, DMI, United Nations Population Fund, and media departments from various cities and autonomous administrations within the Kurdistan Region, marked the commencement of this endeavour.

As the official media arm of the Kurdistan Regional Government, the DMI is committed to executing a comprehensive campaign designed to bolster census awareness among the populace.
