In a significant stride towards economic development, the Kurdistan Regional Government's ninth cabinet has embarked on a groundbreaking project—the Automotive Industrial Zone in Dohuk. Set to be a contemporary and advanced facility, the project is strategically located at the western entrance of Dohuk city, aiming to revolutionize the region's automotive sector.

With a sprawling expanse of 300 acres, the project comprises five distinct zones and carries a price tag exceeding $62 million. Its execution is entrusted to a reputable company, led by Dalovan Barakat, who has underscored the provision of comprehensive services catering to both project employees and visitors.

Three of the five zones have already been completed, boasting a remarkable 2,378 units of varying sizes. These units are primed to accommodate a wide range of automotive businesses, including repair shops and service centers. Construction activities are currently underway for the remaining two zones, with approximately 600 units being erected to facilitate the thriving automotive repair industry.

The existing industrial zone in Dohuk, known for its lackluster appearance, is set to undergo a remarkable transformation.
