US-led Coalition and SDF capture four ISIS operatives in Raqqa

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Coalition Forces have successfully captured four suspected ISIS operatives during a search for weapons and explosives in the city of Raqqa. The operation was carried out with the assistance of the U.S. Combined Special Operations Joint Task Force - Levant (SOJTF LEVANT). The goal of the mission was to disrupt ISIS networks and eliminate potential threats.

Brig. Gen. Claude Tudor, who led the operation, expressed the Coalition Forces' commitment to supporting the SDF in their fight against ISIS. He stated that Coalition Forces would continue to evaluate infrastructure requirements necessary to defeat ISIS.

On April 22, the SDF-US forces discovered a cache of gold, money, and weapons at a farm located in the Kesrat Faraj area of Raqqa. This discovery is yet another blow to ISIS's financial resources.

In addition to the operation in Raqqa, SDF and Coalition members conducted assessments at the ar-Raqqah Detention Facility and the Regional Asayish Headquarters. The assessments were aimed at and visiting Raqqa to ensure the continued success of the mission against ISIS. The operation's success is a testament to the strong partnership between the SDF and Coalition Forces in the fight against ISIS. The improving the security of the facilities and preventing any potential security breaches.

US forces also remain active in the Hasakah and Deir ez-Zor provinces. They are conducting operations capture of the four suspected ISIS operatives will significantly disrupt ISIS networks, making the region safer for all residents.
