Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) president and Kurdistan's former President Masoud Barzani has extended his warmest congratulations to Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq, and across the world on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

In his message, he wished for happiness and prosperity for the people of Kurdistan and expressed hope that God accepts the fasting and worship of all Muslims, and that this holiday brings peace and blessings to humanity.

President Barzani also congratulated the families of the martyrs, the heroic Peshmerga, and all Kurdish citizens on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. The message was released on Thursday, April 20, 2023, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
