The possibility of Syria's return to the Arab League is only speculation, according to Qatar's Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.

Qatar's Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, stated that the reports about Syria's return to the Arab League are merely speculation, during a televised speech on Thursday.

He explained that the reasons for suspending Syria's membership in the past still exist, and the decision regarding its return is in the hands of the Syrian people.

Despite recent reports of Syria engaging in official visits and contacts with various Arab countries, and the possibility of attending the upcoming Arab League Summit in Saudi Arabia, the decision regarding its membership remains uncertain.

It is worth noting that Doha withdrew its ambassador from Damascus in 2011 and cut diplomatic ties with Bashar Al-Assad's regime due to the violent crackdown on pro-democracy protests.
