KRG and Iraqi federal government’s Higher Committee meet in Baghdad
The two Higher Committees of the Iraqi federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) met in Baghdad on Wednesday to discuss a matter of topics of mutual importance.
The main subjects of the meeting were the budget bill, oil, financial supervision and border crossings. Meetings between both sides will continue until all remaining issues between Baghdad and Erbil are resolved.
The two sides underlined the importance of reaching a joint agreement to solve the pending issues within the framework of the Constitution and the ministerial agenda agreed upon by the parties forming the new Iraqi government.
