Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani joined world leaders today in London, paying final respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II, and filing past her coffin at the Westminster Hall, the UK Parliament on Sunday evening. Earlier on Sunday at the Buckingham Palace reception, the President expressed his condolences to His Majesti King Charles III, the Royal Family, the people and government of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth of Nations.

The President arrived in London on Sunday at the official invitation of the United Kingdom and participated at the state funeral ceremony for the late Queen. ‌The President is to attend the final day of the funeral service at Westminster Abbey and Church House on Monday, followed by another ceremony at the UK Foreign Office where he is to leave a handwritten note at the condolence book.
