A commemoration ceremony was held in Erbil today to mark the 21st anniversary of the February 1 Martyrs' Tragedy, in the presence of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani.
The event was attended by families of the victims, political party representatives, and diplomatic officials, including consuls from various countries.
As part of the ceremony, Prime Minister Barzani laid a wreath at the memorial dedicated to the victims, honoring their memory and sacrifice.

More than 100 people lost their lives, and hundreds were injured in twin terrorist bombings targeting the headquarters of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the third headquarters of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in Erbil.
The annual commemoration serves as a reminder of the devastating attack and the resilience of the Kurdish people in the face of terrorism.
