On Thursday, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, congratulated the Yezidi brothers and sisters on the occasion of the Eze fast.

Below is the text of the congratulations:

I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to the Yazidi brothers and sisters on the occasion of the Eze fast, wishing it to be a feast filled with joys and delights.

The Kurdistan Regional Government will continue its path in order to serve all components, and to consolidate the culture of religious and national coexistence in the Kurdistan Region.

On this occasion, we renew our insistence on the need to normalize the situation in Sinjar and its environs by implementing the Sinjar Agreement, and for the outlawing groups to leave, so that the displaced Yazidi brothers and sisters can return to their homes with their heads held high, and their areas to be reconstructed.
