President Masoud Barzani casts his vote in Iraq's early morning elections at a polling station in Pirmam.
Today, the general voting process began in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and will continue until six in the evening.
In the Iraqi parliamentary elections, 23 million 986 thousand 741 voters have the right to vote. 3,226 candidates are vying for 329 seats in the Iraqi parliament.
In this election, Iraq is divided into 83 constituencies. There is an end to each circle for women. There are also nine seats for the final composition: Christian, Shabak, Yazidi, Sabiya and Faili Kurds.
There are 55,041 polling stations in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, with 450 people voting at each polling station.
In the Iraqi parliamentary elections, 800 UN observers, 715 observers, 274 EU observers, an Arab League team, 86 countries and organizations were invited to monitor the process.
There are also 46,888 local observers, 207,344 party representatives, 498 local media outlets, 305 international media outlets will cover the process.
