In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful

Thirty-three years ago, the former Iraqi regime carried out another crime in the late stages of the notorious Anfal operations. So, after the artillery and chemical bombardment of the majority of Badinan districts, and the use of hundreds of thousands of armed men against the innocent population, they arrested, deported and disappeared the people of the components of that area.

This crime was an extension of the series of crimes and disasters that the Iraqi government has been implementing in the last century against our people in Barzan, Garmian, Halabja and all of Kurdistan.

The enemies of the people of Kurdistan have used, in front of the eyes of the world, all advanced weapons, and they have pursued dirty policies in order to annihilate and obliterate the people of Kurdistan. But the people of Kurdistan, who had the will and the just cause, withstood the campaign of genocide and did not surrender or succumb to the enemies who settled in the dustbins of history.

This is a lesson with great meanings and implications for our people on the one hand, and for all those who hate the people of Kurdistan on the other.

On the anniversary of Anfal Badinan, we salute the pure souls of the martyrs and the Anfal, and stress the legitimate rights of our people, and the need for the Iraqi state to compensate the families of the victims of genocide, crimes and injustices committed against our people.
