The Iraqi Federal Police Command revealed the discovery of a factory for the manufacture of improvised explosive devices in Kirkuk.

And the command said in a statement, "According to intelligence information and a qualitative operation, a force from the Third Federal Police Division, in coordination with the intelligence effort and drones, and under the supervision of the division commander, was able to carry out an inspection operation in the Shajara area in Hawija district in Kirkuk, which resulted in the discovery of a factory for the manufacture of improvised explosive devices, weapons, and missiles, in addition to finding an electric generator.”

He also stressed that "all materials have been removed and dealt with in a proper manner."
