Orders issued to start storming Fallujah by “alternative methods”
The government of Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki attacks from time to time to give clan men a chance to expel militants.
But security officials said that a decision has been taken to enter Fallujah on Sunday.
A senior security official said in remarks quoted by Reuters news agency and briefed by " Shafaq News " that " orders has been issued to begin bombing the city with artillery and aircraft to discover the potential capacity of the militants inside Fallujah and try to find a gap for access to the city. "
"The forces and tribal fighters are stationed in their positions at a distance of only 15 minutes outside of Fallujah ."
A senior military official said that they had planted bombs in the main roads of the city, and the army will use alternative ways to enter.
"We finished all our preparations and wait for the final word, which must come from al-Maliki himself,” he added.
Security officials said earlier on Sunday that al-Maliki has received phone calls from the ambassadors of several countries in the region, urging him not to storm the city.
