Shooting Incident Outside Supreme Court in Tehran: Two Judges Killed

A tragic shooting outside the Supreme Court in Tehran on Saturday left two judges dead and several others injured, according to Iranian authorities.

The judiciary identified the deceased judges as Mohammad Moghiseh and Ali Razini. A third judge, whose identity has not been disclosed, sustained injuries in the attack, along with a bodyguard.

The judiciary's official news outlet, Mizan Online, reported, "Three judges of the Supreme Court were targeted. Two of them were martyred, and one was injured." The assailant reportedly took his own life at the scene.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear. However, opposition websites have previously alleged that Judge Moghiseh was involved in trials of individuals they refer to as political prisoners, raising questions about potential political motives.

Authorities are investigating the incident, which has shocked the judiciary and the nation. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
