US to return 550 million dollars to Iran
In a statement to France Press Agency, a US official indicates that the United States government is going to give Iran 550 million dollars back from the 4.2 billion dollars that the US government confiscated.

This will be the first step as other steps to return the money are planned.

The process is going to take place in the framework of the Geneva Interim Agreement on Iran`s Nuclear Program.

The United States government is going to return Iran`s money in the duration of 180 days; meaning returning of a fraction of the money every 34 days.

The first phase of the money return is going to take place on February the 1st.

This agreement came into presence after Iran`s agreement with USA, Russia, China, UK, France and Germany in Geneva, in which Iran agreed to limit its nuclear program and receive sanction relief in return.
