Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki Moon arrived today in Erbil in an official visit to Iraq to discuss security and political situations with Kurdish and Iraqi officials.

Kurdistan Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani welcomed Ban Ki Moon, the Secretary General of the United Nations today in Erbils international airport.

Informed source said that the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon scheduled to visit Syrian refugees camp in the Kurdistan region.

Moon is also to meet with the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani later today.

Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki Moon arrived yesterday in Baghdad. Moon before heading to Baghdad he called on Federal Government to take needed procedures to protect the Iraqi people from terrorism.
