Reuters: Iraq sent crude oil to Syria in past 9 months
Iraq has been sending crude oil to Syria for the last 9 months. The documents also reveal that the oil reached Syria through Egypt`s ports. The trade exchange also extends to include Iran as well, despite all the sanctions imposed by Western Countries on President Assad`s Regime.

The crude oil has been transported to Syria through Iranian oil ships. In Syria, the Syrian national oil company has been responsible for the receiving of the crude oil that has been sent by the Iranian NTCC company; both of these corporations are in United States` and Europe`s black list.

The documents released by Reuters further equip that the export of crude of oil to Syria was at its peak between February and October, including the sending of 17 barrels of oil to Syria; half of this amount has been sent through Iran and the other half has been exported through Port Sidy Kriri in Egypt.

The documents suggest that half of this amount of oil is Iraqi crude oil.
