At least four soldiers had been killed and injured in an armed terrorist attack targeted their Army checkpoint in an area north-west of Kirkuk.

Security source said in a press statement that three soldiers were killed and another was injured in an armed attack targeted Army checkpoint in Dubis district.

Force from the army had rushed into the place of the attack and started to chase the terrorist gunmen but the force was attacked by two explosive devices, no harm was reported. Source added.
