The Presidency of the Kurdistan Region strongly condemned the murder of Kawa Garmiyani, a Kurdish journalist at his house in the town of Kalar.


The Kurdistan Region Presidency issued a statement on Thursday in which it condemned the murder of Mr. Kawa Garmiyani and called on the security institutions of the Kurdistan Region to investigate the matter. The statement added that such acts are not permissible in the Kurdistan Region and those behind the murder will be brought to justice.
