On the news of the death of Nelson Mandela, Kurdistan Region Presidency offered the condolences of the people of Kurdistan to all peace and freedom-loving people around the world.
“Mandela has a special place in the heart of the people of Kurdistan, as our people have also suffered oppression and misery,” said a statement by the Presidency.
