President of Kurdistan Region Masoud Barazani had held a meeting with the Spokesperson of the Iraqi Parliament Osama al-Nujaifi to discuss the elections law. Barazani stressed in the meeting that the old elections law was unfair.


The meeting was attended by number of Iraqi parliament Members as well for representatives from the Kurdish blocks except for Goran block (Chang block), the meeting was held in Salahaldeen on Saturday, October 26, 2013.


Al-Nujaifi said that the pending issues regarding the political process especially the elections law needs the approval of all the political parties, stressing that the elections should not be postponed aimed at protecting the democratic process.


Barazani pointed that dialogue and exchanging viewpoints between the political parties regarding the elections law is a very important thing.
