Iraqi Parliament to discuss Syrian Refugees situation in Kurdistan
Kurdish Bloc have prepared today a draft, asking for central government’s support for many thousands Syrian refugees in Kurdistan region, in Iraqi Parliament.

The Iraqi Parliament reportedly agreed to discuss and vote on the Syrian refugee-related requests of Kurdistan Fraction in its next gathering, which will be held on Monday August 26th.

Nuri al-Maliki’s office already informed the Kurdistan Regional Government of their plan to send 15 Billion Iraqi Dinars to the semi-autonomous region of Kurdistan in order to help the region provide the basic needs and necessities of the refugees.

The member of Kurdistan List in Iraqi Parliament however claimed that this amount of money will not be enough even for one campus of Syrian Refugees and much more help are needed to provide basic necessities for thousands newly fled Syrian Kurds who are in Kurdistan.
