Yawar and Conde discuss the situation of Kurdish Areas Outside the Region
During the meeting, they discussed issues of the federal government and the recent events taking place in the six provinces--Diyala, Anbar, Salahuddin, Kirkuk and Nineveh-- in general, and the need for dialogue and exchange of views with the demonstrators in particular.
They discussed issues related to Kurdistan Region in general, and the Kurdish areas outside the Region. However, the meeting, addressed the Kurdish delegation's visit to Baghdad, the agreement that included 7 points, and how to implement the content.
The meeting also dealt with general issues of Kurdistan Region with Turkey, the withdrawal of PKK forces, the peace process, the importance of implementing this agreement by both sides, and the return of residents of nearby villages to their villages.
At the end of the meeting, they discussed the Syrian security situation in general and Western Kurdistan in particular. The representative of UNAMI showed his readiness to provide full support for the citizens of the region, and thanked the effective role of Ministry of Peshmerga with UNAMI offices in Kurdistan Region.
