A delegation from the Kurdistan Parliament led by Hassan Sora Kurdistan’s Deputy Speaker headed on Monday, to Sweden and a number of European countries.

The delegation will visit headquarters of the Swedish Parliament tomorrow to thank the Swedish lawmakers for the recognition of crimes of Anfal and chemical attacks against the people of Kurdistan by the Baathist regime as Genocide.

The delegation would call on the Swedish Parliament to support the efforts of the Parliament of Kurdistan and the Kurdish political leadership to urge other countries to formally recognize the Anfal operations as crimes against humanity.
