Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani was welcomed by the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and he met President of the Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani at his Emiri Diwan Office on Tuesday morning and his accompanying delegation.

The Emir discussed with the President of Kurdistan Region bilateral relations and means of enhancing and developing them as well as a number of issues of mutual concern and developing economic and investment relations were also reviewed during the meeting.


President Barzani and his an accompanying delegation have arrived on Monday to Doha, and President Barzani is greeted by Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, upon his arrival at Doha airport.


The Prime Minister, while welcoming Barzani, hoped that his visit will boost the relations between the two sides and open broad areas of co-operation for them. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them. They also reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest.
