Dijal Operations Command starts unusual military movements in Kirkuk
Dijal Operations Command of Iraqi Army launched unusual movements, mobilizing more than 30 long-range artilleries from Tikrit, Salahaddin, to Kirkuk surrounding areas.

“Dijal Operation commander met with Division 12 commander of Iraqi Army, demanding him to collect information about Kurdistan parties’ headquarters in Kirkuk,” a source informed PUKmedia, adding that the 30 long-range artileries were transferred from Tikrit to Kirkuk, but did not indicate the exact locations to which the artilleries were directed.

The source said that the Iraqi Army’s forces had entered north of Kirkuk province without coordinating with the security authorities in the city.

Any moves by Iraqi Army forces are considered a violation of the mutual agreements between KRG and Central Government of Baghdad without already informing the province’s authorities.
