- The ninth member of the commissioners' board at the Independent High Electoral Commission of Iraq will be elected Thursday, said an MP.

The MP who demanded anonymity said that the new commissioner will be voted to in the same session in which the MPs vote to the economic infrastructure bill.

Last Monday the Council of Representatives voted on eight members of the board but due to disputes between the Turkman and Christian lists the voting on the last member was postponed.

The new members took legal oath in front of Madhat Mahmoud, head of the Supreme Judiciary Board on Thursday.
