Iraq's President and General Secretary of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Jalal Talabani will not visit Kurdistan Region's capital, Erbil, today, Kurdish Rudaw newspaper reported.

Rudaw cited Saddi Ahmed Pira, chief of 3rd PUK Center, refuting the report.

Yesterday PUK Politburo Spokesperson Azad Junidyani told Kurdistani Niwe newspaper (PUK's outlet) that Talabani is due to visit Erbil on Tuesday to meet with political leaders.

Pira said so far it's not clear when the president will visit Erbil for the meetings.
