Kurdistan Region's Minister of Electricity calls on Iranian companies to invest in the Region
Kurdistan Region's Minister of Electricity urged Iranian companies to make investment and participate in new high quality projects in the region.



Yassen Shekh Abubakir made this announcement at his office when he met with Iranian Consul to Kurdistan Region Sayd Uzim Husseni and a number of Iranian officials along with 39 Iranian companies who participated in Iraq's second energy exhibition in Erbil.



Abubakir said in the meeting that Electricity Ministry is willing to improve its relation with Iranian Ministry of Energy, according to Kurdistan Regional Government's website.



The Minister hoped that the Iranian companies can take advantage from the prevailing security and stability in the region to participate with a better quality projects.



The Iranian delegation also hoped the relation between both Ministries to reach further levels and Iranian companies would be able to invest in the region like any other neighboring countries.
