Participation of foreign companies in Erbil's electric and energy expos on the rise
–There are 72 Iranian companies among the 500 companies from 21 states showcasing their products and services in Erbil's Second International Energy Expo and the Fifth Trade and Construction Equipment Expo, reported Press TV's website.

The participation of the electric and energy companies in the expo has increased %40 in comparison with the last year, announced Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG)'s Ministry of Electricity.

The expos began Sept. 17 at the exhibition center in Sami Abdul-Rahman Park and are due to end today.

The Ministry's Media Advisor Ubed Hrory said nine local and 70 foreign companies participated in the last year's energy expo but this year 29 local and 75 foreign companies have attended the expo.

Hrory added some 104 companies have participated in the Erbil's second expo which come from Chine, Estonia, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey and Britain, reported Ministry's website.

Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has attracted almost $17bn in foreign investment in the last five years.
