Iraq participates in the bank and financial conference in the UK in order to develop the infrastructure of Iraqi banks and financial transactions, announced Iraqi deputy Prime Minister.

Rojh Nouri Shawais stated Sept. 18 to 19 a conference about banks, financial transactions and ways to support Iraq will be held in United Kingdom.

A high Iraqi delegation of ministers and officials including ministers of trade, finance and industry, Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq and a number of Iraqi financial organization are set to visit UK said Shawais, who will preside the delegation.

The official continued the conference will be organized by a number of British banks. Many issues regarding Iraqi banks and financial procedures will be discussed in the gathering.

Shawais stressed that the delegation would like to make comments in the gathering about ways to enhance Iraq's production sector and ways to assist the country but the discussion topics would be the development of banking sectors in Iraq.
