The new academic year started on Monday in Kurdistan Region and Kurdish students started the academic year today.

A statement issued today by the Education Ministry of Kurdistan Regional Government cited that “in the opening ceremony of the start of the academic year schools in a typical secondary school in Erbil ,Emad Ahmad ,Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan regional Government ,Ismat Muhammad ,KRG Ministary of Education and Erbil Governor Nawzad Hadi, and in Sulaimaniya ,the Speaker of Kurdistan Parliament, Arslan Bayez ,Sulaimaniya Governor, Behrouz Mohammed attended at the opening ceremony.
