Kurdistan presidency rejects Baghdad decisions regarding Davuoghlu's visit
– The Kurdistan Region's presidency rejected the decisions made by Baghdad regarding Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoghlu's visit to Kirkuk.
In a statement the presidency said: “The Council of Ministers in Baghdad on Monday issued a number of decisions following recommendations by the investigation committee.”

Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Hussein Shahristani headed the committee to study Davutoghlu's visit and then to send its recommendation to the Council of Ministers.

The presidency said: “The purpose of the Council of Ministers’ decision and forming this committee is obvious. Also fabrication, lying, forming the committee and making decisions against the region are tricks, which some people in Baghdad got accustomed to, to achieve their goals.”

In the statement, the presidency also advises Baghdad to stop stirring the “chaos” because Davutoghlu's visit was legal and the official received a visa from the Iraqi Embassy.
