State of Law leaves parliament hall
– A member of Kurdistan Blocs Coalition in the Iraqi Parliament announced that the Sate of Law Coalition left the parliament hall yesterday in a session to vote on increasing members of the High Electoral Commission.

After the State of Law members left, the legal quorum was not enough to vote on the draft laws. For that reason the parliament extended the function of the committee by 15 days.

The Iraqi parliament approved two draft laws out of seven yesterday.

Saed Khoshnaw said: "Due to a disagreement between parties, the voting on the Federal Court draft law was postponed but the third modification of the district, town and provincial commission draft law was approved.

"Only the State of Law and some small factions were in favour of increasing the membership of the commission and most of the factions were against it. Thus the State of Law members left the hall."
