Iraqi Parliament to vote on electoral commission and federal court draft laws today
Saed Rasul Khoshnaw said: "Parliament's agenda for Monday’s session includes 11 draft laws. Parliament is set to vote on seven of them and will proceed with the other four."
Khoshnaw added that the federal court draft law would be voted on first. Then members will vote on the modification of the district, town and provincial council elections and the ideal agriculture village draft law.
In the session, parliament will also vote on draft laws such as the supreme judiciary council and increasing the number of commission members.
Iraq’s Parliament last week proceeded with the first and second readings for six draft laws. The session was held in attendance of 178 members and headed by the first deputy parliament speaker Qusay Suhel.
