Iraqi government will restart Arabisation, says Dubz mayor
The Iraqi government will begin an Arabisation campaign in the area similar to that of the former regime, said the mayor of Dubz.
Abdullah Nouradin said: "A delegation of the Iraqi Oil Ministry visited and informed us that they want to recruit oil guards in Bay Hassani Bashourm, Bay Hassani Bakour and Khobas oil wells in the first stage.

"We rejected their request because they wanted to recruit 750 guards - all Arab - which is the equivalent to three regiments. There were no Kurds in the recruitment list.

"We informed the delegation that the work must be shared and through agreement and that 375 of them must be Kurds.

Their excuse was that bombings occurred recently in Khobas well. We told them that’s not a good reason because blasts happen in Iraq every day."

Nouradin added: “This is a type of Arabisation in the area and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki's hand is in it to destabilize the area and form forces there. For example, forming Sahua forces in the middle of Iraq, which were created to split the forces.
