First meeting for creation of Council for Negotiations with Baghdad running
In a meeting on Monday Kurdistan senior officials, the representatives of political parties and MPs to Kurdistan parliament and Iraqi Council of Representatives agreed on forming the council which will speak on behalf of Kurdistan Region in settling the suspended files between Baghdad and Erbil.
Rozh Nouri Shawes, deputy for Iraqi prime minister, Arsalan Bayiz, Kurdistan Parliament speaker, Mohammed Ihsan, Kurdistan's representative to Baghdad and heads of the Kurdish political factions in the Iraqi Council of representatives are in the meeting of the committee now.
There are a number of disputes between Erbil and Baghdad governments including the oil and gas issue, budget share for Kurdistan border guards, article 140 for the disputes areas and the issue of federal ism.
