Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Nichervan Barzani , on Thursday in his office in Erbil , received the Australian Ambassador to Baghdad Ms Lyndall Sachs.
The two sides, during the meeting which was attended by Falah Mustafa, Head of the KRG Department of Foreign Affairs, discussed bilateral relations between Kurdistan Region, Australia, and ways of strengthening them.

Ms Sachs , as expressed her country's keenness to expand relations with Kurdistan Region in various fields, clarifying that her country urges its citizens and the Australian investors to travel to Kurdistan Region in order to closely see the investment opportunities here.

They exchanged views on the current political situation in Iraq and the relations between Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi Federal Government.
