The leader in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Firyad Rawanduzi , confirmed that President Jalal Talabani will not practice his constitutional right to withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister Nouri al- Maliki without achieving a national consensus on this issue.
The issue of collecting signatures needed to withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister is not resolved yet, Rawanduzi in a statement to the London based al- Hayat newspaper said.
