The heavy snowfall since three days has paralyzed the trade and tourism movement between Kurdistan Region and Iran, Head of Haji Omaran Customs Office told PUKmedia.

Snow removal teams in Erbil were able to clear snow on roads leading to Haji Omaran broder crossing , but that may not solve the issue , as the problem is mainly on the Iranian side, Masoud Ahmed said.

Haji Omaran is one of the most important border crossings between Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran .
