Kurdistan Region President Mr. Masoud Barzani , on Tuesday, in Saladin Resort in Erbil, met with the Greek Ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Markiyos Carfots.

At the meeting, the Greek ambassador stressed his country's keenness to strengthen relations with the Kurdistan Region and expand horizons of bilateral cooperation in all fields.

President Barzani for his part , pointed out to the historical relations between Greece and Kurds.

Barzani , expressed Kurdistan Region’s readiness to provide all kinds of support and assistance for the success of the Greek Ambassador work and Greek companies that wish to participate in the reconstruction process here in Kurdistan Region.
