Deputy Prime Minister Rozh Nouri Shawis on Wednesday in the City of Baghdad received the Ambassador of South Korea in Iraq on the occasion of ending his mission in Baghdad .

Bilateral ties between Iraq and South Korea and ways of developing them were key issues discussed in the meeting .

Shawis , thanked the Ambassador for his efforts in consolidating relations in all fields between the two countries.

He said that Iraq hails South Korean businessmen and companies contribution in the investment process in the country.

The Ambassador for his part , said that South Korean seeks to develop economic , political and cultural ties with Iraq , reiterating his country’s support to the political process in Iraq and the democratic change in this country.
