Political Bureaus of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), held a meeting yesterday in Saladin Resort in Erbil , under the sponsorship of President Masoud Barzani KDP Leader , with the presence of Kosrat Rasul Ali PUK First Deputy Secretary General , Dr. Barham Ahmed Salih PUK Second Deputy Secretary General and Nichervan Barzani KDP Deputy Chairman.

the meeting attendants discussed ways of resolving the current crisis in Iraq, and described the meeting of the Iraqi parliamentary blocs on January 15, as a successful start, and will pave the way for an extended conference of the blocks.

The meeting stressed that crisis and problems must resolved through dialogue , emphasizing that Kurdish constitutional demands paper and principle of the National Partnership Government , should be part of the political process which will establish for democracy and federalism.

The meeting reiterated support to President Talabani’s efforts to hold the National Conference of the Iraqi political blocs.
