PM Masrour Barzani Receives French Ambassador
Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Patrick Durel, the Ambassador of France to Iraq. They exchanged views on the situation in Iraq, the Kurdistan Region, and the wider region.
They highlighted efforts to form the new KRG cabinet. The Prime Minister stressed that there is a positive atmosphere and good understanding and that they hope to form a strong and unified government in the near future.
They also discussed the need to remove obstacles to the Kurdistan Region’s oil exports, the Kurdistan Region's federal budget share, and respect the constitutional and federal status of the Kurdistan Region.
