President Masoud Barzani Honors Legacy of September Revolution on Its 63rd Anniversary

On September 11, 2024, President Masoud Barzani issued a heartfelt message commemorating the 63rd anniversary of the September Revolution, a historic Kurdish uprising led by the late Mustafa Barzani. The revolution, which played a pivotal role in the Kurdish struggle for rights and autonomy, was praised for its enduring impact on the political and armed resistance of the Kurdish people.

In his message, President Barzani described the September Revolution as a comprehensive political and military movement that restored the will and self-confidence of the Kurdish people. He highlighted the revolution’s role in laying a strong foundation for the continuation of Kurdistan’s liberation efforts, describing it as a key moment in the region's fight against oppression and occupation.
