President Masoud Barzani Meets with Sunni Leaders in Baghdad

They stressed that President Barzani's presence in Baghdad serves as a refuge for Sunnis and other Iraqi communities, bolstering the political process.

President Barzani expressed his pleasure in meeting with Sunni parties, hoping that the meeting would pave the way for increased understanding and coordination among the parties.

Addressing the reasons for his visit to Baghdad and his engagements with parties in the Coordination Framework, President Barzani noted that positive developments have emerged in the Iraqi political process.
