In a vibrant celebration of literature and culture, Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani, president of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), inaugurated the 16th Erbil International Book Fair on Wednesday. Organized by the AlMada group for Media, Culture, and Arts, the event promises an enriching experience for book enthusiasts and cultural connoisseurs alike.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Erbil International Fairground at Sami Abdul-Rahman Park, the fair will run until April 27, welcoming visitors daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. With approximately 300 publishing houses and broadcasting centers from 22 countries participating, the fair boasts an impressive showcase of 1.5 million unique book titles, offering something for every literary taste.

One of the highlights of this year's edition is the enticing discounts offered by participating centers, with savings of up to 50% on a wide range of literary treasures. This special treat is sure to attract a record turnout of visitors and avid readers eager to explore the diverse offerings and engage with the literary community.
