In a diplomatic encounter, Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani hosted the newly appointed Consul General of the Republic of South Korea to the Kurdistan Region, Singchul Lim, today at the Salahaddin Resort near the capital Erbil.

Expressing his delight at the assignment, Consul Singchul Lim commended the pivotal role played by the people of Kurdistan and the Kurdish Peshmerga forces in their relentless pursuit of freedom and security.
