In a tragic incident in the Koysinjaq district of the Kurdistan Region, a drone strike targeted a car in Mount Hebat Sultan, resulting in the unfortunate death of the vehicle's driver. The attack also left three other passengers injured, according to a report from Kurdistan24.

The Kurdistan24 correspondent on the ground detailed the events, stating, "One person was killed, and three others were injured when their car was targeted by a drone in Mount Hebat Sultan in the Koysinjaq district."

Shirwan Jalal, the Director General of Health in the Kurdistan district, provided further information, saying, "Inside the car, there was one man and three women. The airstrike resulted in the death of the car's driver, and his body was transferred to the forensic department in the Koysinjaq district. The three women sustained minor injuries."

The incident occurred on the road leading to Kani Kand village, situated at the base of Mount Hebat Sultan. It is suspected that the passengers in the targeted car were residents of the Makhmour camp, a well-known refugee settlement in the region.

The motive behind the drone strike remains unclear, and local authorities are expected to investigate the incident further.
